Thanks so much for joining me last Saturday at the Woodford Planting. It is very difficult to give an indepth overview of a two week event in 30 minutes, but hope through the presentation, the Q&A and the references below it gives you a much greater insight into some of the leadership either via subnational governments and or the business community in lieu of a binding international agreement.

As promised here’s a copy of my Power Point presentation.  Other reference documents are as follows:

Climatico Copenhagen Debriefing  – This report analyses key issues under discussion in Copenhagen including finance, technology transfer, REDD+, CDM and JI, as well as the ongoing conflicts between Annex I and Non Annex I countries. The Copenhagen Accord is also discussed along with its potential effect on future negotiations and can be downloaded here.

You can also reference notes from UNFCCC Secretary General Yvo de Boer’s first press conference of the year here or download the podcast of the press conference where  Yvo de Boer spoke for the first time since Copenhagen at http://unfccc.int/2860.php. Notes from Vandantix on the business implications of the Copenhagen Accord.

Obama’s State of the Union address can be found at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0LgHV3NxVU start it at 6.51mins on this utube clip to hear how the US will build their economy.

My thanks to Bill, Chloe and the Woodford Folk Festival for programming this Copenhagen Briefing.  I trust it will aid discussion and help debunk the theory the rest of the world is not doing anything.   Sadly we are one of the few counties left in the world still  having the debate – the rest of the world well and truely moved on years ago and are now benefiting from establishing a green economy.

If I can be of further assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact me direct.
